Wallis's Farm Shop & Butchers is at The Stables, Heath Road, Tendring, Essex, CO16 0BX. We're a family-run farm shop and butchers on the farm where we rear our own cattle, pigs, lamb and poultry. It's a short drive from Clacton-on-Sea, Weeley, Thorpe-le-Soken, Manningtree and Colchester.

We're open Monday to Saturday 9am to 6pm, Sunday 9am to 1pm. Hours can change around bank holidays and Christmas, so check our Facebook page for any updates or give us a call on 07551 576993 before a special trip.

Yes. We rear our own cattle, pigs, lamb and poultry on the farm behind the shop. Our meat is produced on the farm, butchered on the farm and sold on the farm, so you get full traceability and no long supply chains. Animal welfare is a priority for us.

Yes. Our beef, lamb and pork are grass-fed and reared on our own fields in Tendring. If you want something specific, such as a particular steak or joint size, it's best to order ahead on WhatsApp so we can have it ready for you.

Wallis's Farm Shop & Butchers in Tendring sells beef reared on our own farm, a short drive from Clacton-on-Sea. Pop in during opening hours or order ahead on WhatsApp on 07551 576993 and collect from the farm.

It takes three steps. Choose your hamper, tap the Order on WhatsApp button and fill in your collection day, extras and name in the message. We'll reply to confirm your order, then you collect from the farm on the day you chose.

Our Christmas hampers are £115 for a Family of 4, £140 for a Family of 6, £170 for a Family of 8 and £250 for the Big Christmas Hamper, which feeds 10 or more. Extras include topside (£20), silverside (£22) and rib of beef (£24).

Every hamper has sausage meat, pigs in blankets, a rolled pork joint, a rolled beef joint and a turkey crown, sized for your family. The Big Christmas Hamper adds a rolled lamb joint. Full contents and weights are listed on our Christmas hampers page.

Yes, every hamper can be customised. Tell us what you'd like to swap or add in your WhatsApp message, for example an extra joint, gammon or bacon, and we'll confirm what's possible and the price before you collect.

Collect from the shop at The Stables, Heath Road, Tendring, Essex, CO16 0BX on the day you chose, during opening hours. We'll confirm your order on WhatsApp first, so just give your name at the counter when you arrive.

Yes. WhatsApp is the easiest way, as it gives us your order in writing, but you're welcome to call us on 07551 576993. Ordering ahead is best for specific cuts, joints and larger orders.

Not currently. All orders are collected from the farm shop in Tendring. If you have a special request, ask us on 07551 576993 and we'll see what we can do.

We have two. The £24 BBQ Pack has 4 burgers, 8 sausages, 9 chicken skewers (garlic, BBQ and double smoke), 4 minted lamb koftas and 4 lamb koftas. The £12 BBQ Pack has 4 burgers, 8 sausages, 3 chicken drummers, 3 chicken nibbles and 3 chicken thighs.

Our flavoured meats come in Minted, Garlic, BBQ and Double Smoke. We also do seasoned and rubbed chickens, burgers, koftas and skewers. What's on the counter changes, so ask us what's in this week or order ahead on WhatsApp.

Our homemade pies are made with our own meat. Flavours are Chicken & Forest Mushroom, Chicken Ham & Leek, Beef & Kidney in Mersea Island Stout, Humble Beef, Minced Beef & Onion, and Beef & Stilton. Order ahead on WhatsApp if you want a particular flavour.

Yes. Fresh bread is delivered every morning from Mersea Island Bakery, including granary, GI, sourdough, farmhouse loaves, tiger bread, bloomers and fresh rolls. We also stock sourdough breads and bagels.

Our bread arrives fresh from Mersea Island Bakery every morning. Popular loaves can sell out, so if you want something specific, pre-order it the day before.

Send us a WhatsApp with the loaves you want before 1pm and we'll have them ready for you to collect the next day. Use the Pre-order bread for tomorrow button on our website and the message is written for you.

Yes. Michelle's Fish Stall is at Wallis's every Thursday and Friday 9am to 4pm and Saturday 9am to 1pm, selling fresh fish and seafood. It's cash only. The Fish Stall is a separate business run by Michelle.

Shyra's Veg Shed is coming soon to the farm, with fresh fruit, vegetables and potatoes. It's a separate business. More details are coming soon, so follow us on Facebook for news.

Yes. We invite local producers, artisan bakers and fruit and veg suppliers to run pop-up stalls on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Send us a WhatsApp to talk about it.
